What Parents Fail To Understand.
Altruism is the principle or practice of unselfish concern for or devotion to the welfare of others. I can’t think of a better term to associate with parents. Everything they do is for the sake of their children. Their entire happiness revolves around their children and making sure that they are as happy as possible disregarding their own comfort. We’re always told that too much of anything is bad. I can’t help but concur with it. It’s a fine line between being caring and being possessive, protecting and suffocating, guiding and demanding. More often than not parents fail to differentiate between these. They fail to realise that their children grow up and stop being children. And that they can make their own decisions and at times it will be different. Expecting them to follow whatever you say when they’re fully grown adults with their own thoughts is not going to end up well.
